After traveling from New South Wales to Queensland, we quickly kicked off a training match today with Australia’s Development Team.
We were able to enjoy our usual play right from the start, and Red Sparks scored 2 points. However, in the latter half of the 4th quarter, we lost 2 points through bad passes and lack of communication, ending in a tie 2-2. It was a disappointing result since we were doing quite well until the final six minutes.
The fact that our performance tends to fluctuate during a game is one of our bad habits. We were able to reaffirm the important need to improve on this point.
We have 3 training matches left with the Australian team. We plan to go over videos of the games and discuss ways to overcome as many issues as we can.
