Notice on receiving award

On January 31(Thu) at Hiroshima Prefectural Office, “FY2019 (H30) Hiroshima Prefecture Education Encouragement Award Ceremony” was held, where the coach of Coca-Cola Red Sparks Hockey Club Seonmi Park received Hiroshima Prefecture Education Encouragement Award praised for consecutive championship victories in the National Sports Festival as well as contributions to raising the level of hockey competition ability in Hiroshima Prefecture.

               
 

Subsequently, our player Akiko Ota won 2 prizes in her hometown of Kagoshima Prefecture!

First she was selected for Minami-Nippon Sports Award in ”The 57th. Minami-Nippon Sports Awarding“ held on February 3 (Sun) at Minami-Nippon Shimbun-kaikan (Minami Hall).

Then she was granted with a certificate of commendation in “FY2019 (H30) Governor Award ‘Sports Division’” by the prefectural governor Satoshi Mitazono at Kagoshima Prefectural Office on February 7 (Thu).

Both awards this time came after winning championship victory in  ”The 18th. Asian Games Women’s Hockey” where she played as a national team member and was recognized for excellent performances and contributions to promotion and improvement of sports in Kagoshima Prefecture at the same time. 

 

 

Finally on February 8 (Fri), “Hiroshima Phoenix Awarding Ceremony” took place at Hiroshima City Office where Coca-Cola Red Sparks Hockey Club was commended by Hiroshima City.

Our players Shoko Kanefuji and Akiko Ota attended from the team, and Kanefuji was granted with a certificate of commendation and a commemorative shield by the City Mayor Kazumi Matsui representing the Club.

The award was given to Coca-Cola Red Sparks Hockey Club this time for the championship victory in the 73rd. National Sports Festival.
